In the security area, Nexera developed (in its own laboratories) Visia2, a complete intelligent videosurveillance platform which offers customized solutions in different application context. The platform is made by:


- Digital intelligent videosurveillance  systems on IP network (Visia – MT)

- Network media appliance (Visia – PVS) for management/distribution of video stream on IP network, bandwidth optimization and storage;

- GIStributor, is a server based system designed to allow the security control room to efficiently manage officers on the field, sending the relevant live or recorded video footage to the operator's GPS enabled smartphone (or iPhone);

- Last generation DVR and NVR (Visia-DVR and Visia-NVR)

- Computer vision algorithm libraries for System Integrator (Visia-LibMT)

- Recognition systems for anomalous sounds (Visia-SD)

- Megapixel Face Detection/Recognition systems (Visia-FD)

- Video Management system (Visia-AS)
 

Visia2 platform has the normal functions run by the traditional digital videosurveillance systems: live visualization of cameras, video recording with pertinent sound, statistics elaboration, local research of occurring events, system administration, functioning state control of the cameras, remote control of the movement for the PTZ cameras, hardware malfunction detection, recorded images exportation. Moreover our videosurveillance system is prepared to run intelligent videosurveillance functionalities based on images analisys and computer vision technics, which allow to identify and classify in an automatic manner objects and/or persons in the visualized scene, and to track the motion trajectories. Our platform adds in this way video analytics functions.
